I'm Back...

Wow, where did the time go in January?  Just yesterday, it seems, we were celebrating the arrival of 2010.. it's almost over. Like many of you in the east, we had snow storms, some ice, power outages, etc., all of which put a damper on getting those creative juices flowing.  The flu slowed me down for quite a while, but I have recovered and am catching up on my digital scrapbooking.

Friday, January 8th

Good morning or is it evening where you are?  Hey, Friday was a kind of strange day.  I couldn't find my camera, the weather was not co-operating as it was a very fine and steady snow or ice falling coating the ground, the cars, the trees.  It had a slight crunch to it when I stepped on it.  The weather man said it was going to continue through the rush hour which for me is a bit scary.  No scrapping today since I have to backup my computer.  I am searching for another external drive and haven't found one yet. I will be back on Saturday, January 9th with layouts, news from the scrapping world, etc.

Hey... Ice Princess Scraps has done it again.

Hey Y'all, It's Thursday, January 7th, the first week of the New Year.  I've been busy with my designers and getting some layouts created with there beautiful kits.  I just finished a layout for a fabulous designer and I can't tell you how happy I am to have worked with such a great kit as Sweet Serenity.  I just loved the colors and elements that came along with it.  Here are my creations.. One of my designers has had to quit designing to take care of her children.  She is a very talented designer and the digiscrap world will surely miss her.  I am sure that all will be well with her and hopefully she will return to the digiscrapbooking world in the future.    We are sad to see her leave.

Well 2009 is now in the past and we have entered the last year of the first decade of the millennium, some would say. I argue that the last day is 2011 since the millennium started in 2001 but I digress.  I am so excited about this new year. I have picked up 2 new designers to create for, I will soon have a new daughter-in-law and a new grandchild this year.  I am recovering slowly but steadily from my back surgery and the family seems to be intact.  All things I am grateful for.  I am sending out a wish that everyone who reads this enjoys a healthy, debit free and happy New Year.

Good Tuesday morning..

How's the weather where you are today?  It's about 6:40 am (EST), the temperature is 46 degrees and there is no rain or snow in the forecast which is good for me.  My mission today is to get out and capture something Christmas-y today.  Maybe a business that is showing it's Christmas spirit or a home decorated to the nine's.  If I find something, like that, I'm gonna scrap it LOL. 

There is digital scrapbooking news on the horizon.. for January 2010 so stay tuned.

Layouts for some of the Deco-Pages Challenges

Hello family and friends.. I haven't posted in a couple of days.  I wish I could say I was busy scrapping but the truth is I have been having such back and leg pain, I could hardly get out of the bed.  Today, Saturday I thought I would try to sit and get a few things done ... Christmas time is upon us.   I have created a few layouts for some challenges that are held over at Deco-Pages, so I wanted to post them for you. 

These were created for the Color Challenge... They came out kinda nice I think.

 This one was for the Font Challenge.. The font is Goldilocks.. I think it's a very "whimsical" font.  I will add it to my list to use.

All data gone..

Aggrevated... this morning i got up to an almost non-existent programs on my computer.  I don't know what is eating up my stuff but I have to wipe it completely. There is nothing to be saved.  No programs open, nothing.  UGH!! this is not what I wanted to do and I have an updated virus .dat file.  I called HP and they said there is some type of "bot", "worm" something that they have been dealing with other customers and we all have the same symptoms.  So.. I will be down for a while to get this computer back up and running.  Be careful with your downloads.. Scan often cause this isn't any fun.  I have lost over 30 gigs of scrapbooking kits, pics, layouts, etc. 

Well .. I better get started... Chao, y'all!
