Recovered...

Well the last post on this blog was August 1st.  So much has happened in our personal and family life including losing this blog however, as you can see it has returned.  There is so much to catch up on and I will over time.  Most of the previous posts were lost or corrupted so I will be removing them as I get this back up and running.  To my followers, I have missed posting and chatting and seeing your wonderful commets.  Check back with me... the best is yet to be.

Semi-up and running.......

Transition has it's ups and downs.  I have been in Louisiana and now I'm in Dallas Texas.  You may be wondering why? Well my son returned home from deployment with his troop successfully.  His wife, began to have issues with their pregancy so she had to travel to Dallas 3 times a week for follow up.  Once the determined that she would need to be continuously monitored here in Dallas, my son and their 2 year old and me packed up to come here.  The DIL seems to be doing ok and the child will be delivered via c-section next week.  Traveling without your own computer, back up hard drives, digital kits and printer  has me unsettled like a fish out of water.  So many unfinished obligations.  For that, I am sorry.  I will be able to resume my scrapbooking duties in the fall.  I want to thank the designers that I have been working with for their understanding in this matter.  Scrapbooking is a therapy for me and I miss it. LOL. 

Away on family business

My dear followers and friends,
My son returned home from deployment successfully, however his wife and unborn child are now hospitalized due to complications.  I have to extend my time away from my blog until after things settle down so I will be posting weekly instead of daily.  Thank you for your prayers

Today is a gr8 day.. my computer is back.

I just got my "own" computer back after a horrendous crash a few weeks back.  I have no software or kits or pictures but I can rebuild..

FORGET THE COUNTDOWN...

My son is coming home on June 1st from Haiti.. Mission Complete.  I can't wait to hear from him and see him.  We are now down to a matter of hours...

Memorial Day...

Please remember those who served and died for our country today.   My computer is still down so I have been creating templates on this little laptop until i get my new computer in about 2 weeks.  For my wonderful designer, I apologize for this inconvenience.  For the followers, you will see much more when I'm back online.  Be safe and enjoy your day!
